The Pro Guide was new for 2017, to meet the request for a dedicated stalking knife with a straighter profile and maximum reach for dealing with large red, fallow and sika. It follows the ethos of having a slender drop-point for working inside a carcass, a fore-finger groove for control and orientation and a sculpted handle to improve grip. After months of real-world testing, this pattern became a firm favourite for me for the larger species.
